If you cannot install the Web Toolkit you might be interested in using CURL to interact with the ECaccess Web Services V2

Please note the Web Toolkit require at least an ECaccess gateway version 6.3.1.

    Which release would you recommend for openSUSE 11.3? The 12.1 release expects a newer version of libc. Thanks.

    Which release would you recommend for Ubuntu 18.04.4 LTS? "Ubuntu 16.04 x86_64" listed here or the version from it's repository: "ecaccess/bionic,bionic 4.0.1-1 all clients to access ECMWF facilities"?
