Specialised formats

There are several specialised presentations of forecast data which highlight the variation among the seasonal ensemble and show the departure from the seasonal climatology.  The main interest is in the predicted activity of tropical storms, and the development of other tropical systems which through teleconnection have an impact at higher latitudes.

Fig8.3.4-1: To view Nino Plumes or Climagrams:

1. On Charts page select Medium Range forecast.
2. Select seasonal (Months) on menu. Seasonal products appear (not all shown here).
3. Click on diagram of interest.
