ECMWF has been designated as the Lead Centre for Wave Forecast Verification (LC-WFV) by the World Meteorological Organisation (WMO) Commission for Basic Systems (CBS-2016)
The project is in the development phase.
Information has been gathered in order to establish the data format and file name convention for the project.
All Centres participating in the current Wave Forecast Verification Project managed by Jean Bidlot for JCOMM have been invited to contribute. Other Centres are welcome to join the project.
