EUMETCast Terrestrial over AMT can serve any user hosted on the EUMETSAT side of the EWC, regardless of native multicast connectivity. The encapsulated data can travel via GEANT network or the commercial internet.

The setup of the EUMETCast Terrestrial station is also possible on the ECMWF side of the EWC on request. If interested in deploying it on ECMWF, please raise a request on the EWC Support Portal. However, note that for the best performance and experience we recommend its deployment on the EUMETSAT side of the EWC. |
